Medium Pocket Knives

On 12 June 1897, Victorinox founder Karl Elsener patented his Officer’s Knife and Sports Knife. His pocket knife can now be found exhibited in museums around the world, including the Museum of Modern Art in New York. The Swiss Army Knive has become an icon and is regarded as the embodiment of multifunctionality, inventiveness and Swiss precision. The top-of-the-range model of pocket knife, the Swiss Champ, for example, combines 33 functions in one award-winning design. Made up of 64 individual components, it passes through 450 stages of production. And it is always there when you need it.

Let us tell you about some of the other ways our pocket knives can be used.

Always prepared: You are no doubt familiar with the basic functions of our pocket knives: blade, can opener, bottle opener, screwdriver, corkscrew, tweezers and toothpick. You may also know that some Swiss Army Knives come with a wood saw, scissors or awl. But did you know that our pocket knives can also perform completely different tasks? For example, stripping a wire. The integrated magnifying glass is there to assist you with any extreme precision work. Pliers and even an entire set of Allen keys are also at your disposal. If that is still not enough for you, we recommend our pocket knife with, believe it or not, 81 integrated functions.

For children: We love skilled crafts. That is why we believe it is so important for young children to be able to use pocket knives and experience just how much creativity they inspire. Given clear instructions and a few safety rules, of course, just let them get started! Our pocket knives for children have rounded blades so you can be reassured that you are not exposing your children to any unnecessary risks.

Always up for something new? Yes, it is true, we have been making the same thing for over a century: pocket knives. But no one has yet accused us of resting on our laurels. That is because we are always developing new pocket knives and functions. For instance, we now have new ergonomically shaped pocket knife scales which sit particularly well in the hand. Our wooden scales are also very comfortable to hold. Over the years, we have also added features like a USB stick and an integrated stopwatch.
