Amazing EDC

This is my first SAK and is totally worth the 57€!!!! Blade is sharp, scissors are great quality, as is everything on the knife.

Solid, Ergonomic, Slick

I got this lil but big in the same time Pioneer X about a week ago. It is victorinox and that usually means quality and ergonomics with a long history. I have only one thing that could be improved by the design team for next generation of Pioneer X Alox and I wish there was a way to upload pictures in this review to show exactly what I mean. So, the heads of the rivets that keep together all the parts, are staying on top of the alox 3d squared texture of the scales. The design team did not designed the scales like they did with the Hunter Pro Alox to remove few of the textured squares around the heads of rivets and give the chance to those heads to be fully on a flat surface of the aluminum scales. Instead in the Pioneer X Alox case the rivets heads are on top of the 3D alox texture, leaving a lot of open space under the heads where dirt will be deposited in time during use. You are actually able to place you nail under them which should not be the case. One of the heads is strangely even higher than the others. I can send pictures to a Victorinox representative if requested. Overall this is a great knife but this issue in the design process was something that Victorinox missed before they put this knife in production and because of that unfortunately I can’t say this is a perfect pocket knife.
